MathMaestro.org organized GameHack, a game development hackathon for middle schoolers, in November 2022. Students had two days to plan, develop, and create a game based on the given theme (“time”), using any technologies/languages of their choosing. Throughout the course of the hackathon, high school students also led workshops on interesting computer science concepts including advanced data types, digital information, and more, and there was a guest lecture by Sidd Puri on his work in the tech industry with autonomous vehicles. Huge congratulations to Sanjay Srinivasan and Hrithik Wadia for placing 1st at this hackathon! View their winning game, “Once Upon a Time” below!
